Job Purpose Accurately mixes color samples required for the formula development process and larger samples for customers, application testing, and additional department usage. Will maintain paint stock for color lab. Collaborate with group leader in color development. Key Responsibilities * Develop and approve colors as required. Collaborate with Color Developers on issues that occur during Mixing and Application. * Prepares and applies sample following product guidelines. * Maintains and calibrates Mixing and Application equipment. * Orders, stores, and maintains stock database with batch information, shelf-life checks, and tonor quality control. Will refill materials from gallons into liter cans. * Order non-paint material. * Follows safety protocols, ensuring a safe and clean work environment. * Participate in continuous improvement of department knowledge and efficiency. Job Requirements * High School diploma or equivalent. * 3 years' relevant work experience. Chemical background preferred. * Experience with color development and continuous improvement preferred. * Detail-oriented with the ability to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines. * Ability to work collaboratively and flexible as part of a team. * Effective mathematical and calculation skills. * Proficient with Microsoft Office. Experience using color software preferred. * Fully comply with all safety, health and environmental guidelines according to site and company standards. Rewards and Benefits The salary range for these skills is $55,000.00 - $57,000.00. This is the range that we in good faith anticipate relying on when setting wages for this position.
