General Responsibilities:
? Receive, test, price and stock donated merchandise onto sales floor.
? Provide quality professional customer service at all times.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
? Receive merchandise donations and provide donation receipts.
? Assist with quality control of incoming donations and distribute merchandise to
designated departments.
? Maintain safety and cleanliness of work area, sales floor, and outside entrances:
shovel, salt, sweep, mop, empty garbage, break down boxes, and lawn care.
? Safely operate a forklift, pallet jack, and baler.
? Assist in supporting new hires and volunteers.
? Perform other duties as assigned.
Physical Demands:
? The employee is required to stand, sit, walk, use hands to handle and/or reach with
hands and arms.
? The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
Additional Requirements:
? Forklift and baler certification or ability to pass certification within the first 30 days.
? Understand the importance of daily work attendance, and its impact on coworkers,
customers, and the agency.
? Participate in personal and professional development activities, including staff meetings,
conferences, training opportunities, as identified and approved by supervisor.
? Must have reliable transportation, valid driver’s license is preferred.
? Successful clearance of DHHS Central Registry and criminal history record check.
? Must comply with Agency tobacco free and drug free policies.
