ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSABILITIES: * Train and implement the Finance processes according to the globally standardized SAP-template. * Perform the Fit/Gap-analysis phase due to legal or local tax reporting requirements. In case of gaps develop a concept for the implementation in SAP in collaboration with the IT competence team and the local responsible. * Ensure the correctness of the Finance data takeover from the previous SAP or Non-SAP system and assist in creating documentation for internal and external auditors. * Lead responsibility for the rollout projects, coordinate schedule, budget and team members (central and local). Create the project documentation, host the Teams and lead and prepare the Steering Committee meetings. * Develop implementation concepts for optimization in SAP with the requestor and the IT competence team. * Ensure that local or regional process change requests will not affect global SAP-template, the process is in line with the Group Accounting Guideline and the parallel accounting standards are still reflected. * Create test cases and perform first independently, coordinate tests within the requesting location or region as well as globally if the change is affecting other regions as well. Responsible for the final release of the change. * Analyze existing business processes with the focus on harmonization and standardization according to group requirements, and develop concepts to improve data quality and process efficiency which will be provided to the local or regional management. * Check and develop ERP, reporting possibilities to review process and data quality * First and second level support for all SAP FI related incidents, support for month-end closing errors or business process related questions. * Assist in special analysis requirements for year-end closing activities and internal / external audit requests * Training of new users in SAP template processes for Finance as well as integrated processes (mainly SD, CO, MM/WM, MM/PUR) * MORE: Test, implement and train the new developed global SAP template. The PA North America will be involved in the UATs (User Acceptance Tests) and later on be part of the rollout team which implements and trains the new developed global SAP template in all North American entities. QUALIFICATIONS: * Bachelor of Science, Engineering or Finance * 5 years industry experience in financial accounting, reporting or controlling. * Extensive knowledge of software applications (i.e., Excel, MS Word) * Communication and Collaboration skills necessary to partner with cross functional teams and departments. * Capable of implementing continuous improvements within department, i.e., lean six sigma concept * Effective time management to anticipate, plan and execute assignments * Must possess a high level of independent judgement, professionalism and integrity * Strong analytical, communication and problem solving skills * Knowledge of Robotics/Automation a plus. * Experience with Lean Six Sigma preferred.
