Maintenance Manager

Our client, a 50+ years family owned, values-based company based in Grand Rapids, MI, currently has a need for a new team member in their newly renovated facilities. This extremely stable company with a uniquely relaxed culture (you can wear jeans to work!) does nearly 100 million in sales as a supplier to the automotive and consumer goods markets. Key Responsibilities:
- Leading, training, and mentoring a team of maintenance technicians.
- Developing and executing preventive and predictive maintenance programs.
- Scheduling and overseeing maintenance activities for production and support systems.
- Ensuring safety and regulatory compliance across all maintenance operations.
- Maintaining accurate documentation on maintenance, inventory, and costs.
- Managing department budgets and collaborating with vendors and contractors.
- Partnering with production and leadership teams to align maintenance with business goals.
- Driving process improvements, equipment upgrades, and technical problem-solving initiatives.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree preferred; equivalent work experience considered.
- 5+ years of maintenance leadership experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Strong ability to read and interpret technical documents, business reports, and regulations.
- Confident in presenting information and communicating with employees at all levels and external partners.
