Job Description Job Summary Manage day-to-day activities, administration for field resources operating in the assigned region. At times, this may include ad-hoc contract teams associated with short/medium term projects Lead, encourage and support personal development, efficiency, and productivity of field service engineers. Essential Duties & Responsibilities * Maintain a high degree of customer satisfaction with product performance and service by developing strategic field service plans promoting ICU Medical value added services Provide leadership, direction, manage efficient and productive deployment of resources within the service region * Responsible for accurate and timely field complaint investigation, repairs, and reporting, compliant with company procedures and FDA Good Manufacturing Practices, within the field service region * Responsible for an accurate accounting of all billable and extended warranty repairs within region * Work with Implementation Services Team to plan and effect new infuser placements * When needed work with the ICU Market Action team to affect any remediations * Create a proper balance between repair, implementation and market action work for FSEs in the region * Responsible for planning service territory structure, and geographical service coverage, to assure optimal customer field service response and cost efficient operation, within the field service region * Position requires business and technical communications with customers at various levels, external communications with various industry professional associations and supporting businesses, internal Field Service personnel, Marketing management, Sales team and management, Quality Assurance Knowledge, Skills & Qualifications * Strong cGMP, process and product knowledge * Excellent verbal and written communication skills * Experience with programmable medical devices and software based medical systems * Computer skills including MS Word, Excel & PowerPoint and be familiar with networked equipment Education and Experience * High School diploma or GED equivalent; Bachelor's Degree in a technical discipline or the equivalent work experience (10 years technical employment) * Minimum of 5 years of experience in a technical vocation Healthcare background preferred * Minimum 3 years management and leadership experience in a medical/hospital environment Minimum Qualifications * Must be at least 18 years of age * Must pass pre-employment drug screen and background check Travel/Vehicle/Credit Requirements * Typically requires travel 5-20% of the time * Ability to use commercial air travel when necessary * Must be able to travel on short notice * Valid driver's license * Must own reliable vehicle * Must be eligible for the corporate credit card Physical Requirements and Work Environment * Must be willing to work in a hospital environment, typically a Biomed work area About Us ICU Medical has consistently provided you with clinical innovations that help solve real-world challenges.
