- High school diploma or equivalent; technical training or associate degree in industrial maintenance or related field preferred.
- 2+ years of CNC maintenance experience, preferably in a die casting or high-volume machining environment.
- Working knowledge of CNC controls (Fanuc, Mazak, Siemens, etc.).
- Strong understanding of G-code/M-code and ability to make minor program adjustments on the shop floor.
- Proficient in diagnosing both mechanical failures and program-related errors affecting machine operation.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Familiarity with machining challenges unique to die cast parts (e.g., irregular surfaces, thermal expansion).
- Experience with robotic systems and automated machining cells.
