LaCroix Eye Care is seeking a friendly Optometric Technician to join their team in Mt. Clemens, MI. As an Optometric Technician, you will support the optometrist in delivering high-quality eye care services by performing pre-testing, assisting with exams, and educating patients. We are looking for a highly motivated individual with prior experience in eyecare who enjoys learning and is eager to join a team that truly cares about the patients they serve.

WHAT YOU WILL DO.
- Perform preliminary testing (visual acuity, autorefraction, tonometry, fundus photography, etc.)
- Perform additional specialty testing including Humphrey Visual Fields and Optical Coherence Tomography (OCT).
- Record patient medical histories and update electronic health records.
- Assist with contact lens training and insertion/removal instruction.
- Maintain and clean equipment and exam rooms.
- Manage patient flow and schedule efficiency.
- Support with optical sales, frame adjustments, and lens education (as needed).
- Provide exceptional customer service throughout the patient experience.
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR.
- High school diploma required.
- 2+ years of experience working in an optometry or medical office preferred.
- Experience working as an optometric technician is a plus.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Must be willing to learn.
- Adequate typing skills.
- Exceptional attention to detail and customer service skills.
