JOB DESCRIPTION Under close supervision, the Shipping Specialist I assists with coordination of shipping and scheduling with transport carriers and provides customer service and offsite warehouse support. May research and resolve discrepancies on orders to meet on-time shipping targets. Major Accountability * Print labels and apply to staged shipments on the Warehouse floor. * Creates and sends sales order picklist to warehouse, confirms shipments and investigates discrepancies. * Verifies staged shipments to ensure accuracy. * Assist with tracking shipments and providing information to internal and external customers. Key Tasks and Responsibilities * Assists with customer returns and/or investigates any shipping/receiving issues. * Arranges and processes vendor returns. * Ships small parcels via UPS. * Use customer portals to schedule inbound and outbound freight using third party logistics. * Scan bills of lading and uploads into inventory systems and send to internal customers. * Performs system audits and reporting for the shipping department. * May perform receiving duties consistently or as backup. * Consistently operate in a manner that aligns to the Company Core Values.
