The Instruments Group at KLA offers a large portfolio of profilometers, nano-indenters, thin film reflectometers and Candela defect inspection and metrology systems. KLA Instruments' line of optical and stylus profilers offer a complete range of surface metrology capabilities for engineering and research communities. Our benchtop and automated profilers are designed to measure step height, film thickness, form, texture and automated defect inspection. We also offer high-throughput nanomechanical testers for material characterization. With flexible add-on and upgrade options, our nano-indenter systems can be used to measure hardness, Young's modulus, adhesion and more. Our affordable UV to NIR spectrometer systems measure thin film thickness from 1nm to 13mm, optical constants, and deposition rates of thin films.
Position Description
KLA seeks a highly organized, detail-oriented team player with extensive experience in optical metrology to join our Benchtop Instruments Sales organization. The successful candidate will be a key part of our sales process to meet/exceed sales objectives for benchtop instruments like reflectometers and stylus/optical profilers within the US region and will participate in product demonstrations along with providing applications support to our customers. He/she will play a critical role in delivering consistent results, will problem-solve, troubleshoot, and will build and maintain key relationships with our customers.
Key Responsibilities:
Understand customers' characterization requirements and provide solutions using KLA's various optical and interferometry-based techniques.
Conduct product and measurement demonstrations
Define, prepare and present quotes to customers and close sales opportunities efficiently
Support sales and product management as the key expert and provide technical phone support for installed systems
Train customers on key technologies and product use
Assist with business development, qualifying new applications, markets, and customers
Author white papers, product application notes, and technical papers for conferences
Willing to travel up to 25-50%
Minimum Qualifications
Doctorate (Academic) Degree and 0 years related work experience; Master's Level Degree and related work experience of 3 years; Bachelor's Level Degree and related work experience of 5 years
Base Pay Range: $93,300.00 - $158,600.00 Annually
