What You Will Do: As a plumbing designer at Peter Basso Associates, you’ll join project teams working with top architects, contractors, and facility owners across diverse markets - education, healthcare, research, institutional, multi-family, and mixed-use. You'll apply creative solutions to complex challenges and contribute to projects from concept through construction.
We are seeking well-rounded professionals who:
- Have experience in plumbing system design, including domestic hot and cold water; sanitary waste and vent; storm water; various specialty systems.
- Collaborate across disciplines to drive project success
- Develop practical solutions using strong problem-solving skills
- Use BIM tools (AutoCAD, Revit) to ensure quality and efficiency
- Manage multiple projects, milestones, and deadlines
- Communicate effectively with internal teams and external clients
- Mentor and delegate to support team growth
- Balance big-picture thinking with attention to detail
- Embrace continuous learning and professional development
Qualifications:
- 10- 20 years of experience in plumbing system design
- Associates of Applied Science (or similar relevant education) in addition to industry experience
- Proficient in AutoCAD and Revit
- Strong communication and leadership skills
- Self-driven, adaptable, and team-oriented
