906 Tree Service is seeking a reliable, hard-working, and
safety-focused individual to join our team as a Tree Worker.
This position involves supporting tree care operations, including trimming,
felling, pruning, removal, and stump grinding. Experience is a plus,
but we are willing to train the right person.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with tree trimming, removal, and pruning using ropes, chainsaws, and other equipment.
- Load and unload equipment and debris.
- Operate stump grinders, chippers, chainsaws, and other machinery safely.
- Maintain and clean tools, equipment, and vehicles.
- Follow safety standards and company procedures at all times.
- Communicate with crew leaders and team members to complete tasks efficiently.
- Work in a variety of weather conditions and physically demanding environments.
Requirements:
- Valid driver’s license required (CDL is a plus).
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs regularly.
- Comfortable working at heights and with potentially hazardous tools.
- Strong work ethic and positive attitude.
- Willingness to learn and follow instructions.
- Ability to work as part of a team and independently.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Prior experience in tree service, landscaping, or related field.
- Knowledge of tree species and pruning techniques.
- First Aid/CPR certification or safety training.
- ISA Certification is a plus (for advancement).
