This includes end-to-end ownership of system engineering, platform integration, technical oversight of internal development efforts, IRAD alignment, and technical coordination across field support, sustainment, and production activities.
The ideal candidate combines deep system integration and acquisition expertise with mission focus, a collaborative spirit, and high standards. * Lead cross-functional technical planning and risk mitigation for integration of autonomy, cUAS, vision systems, C5ISR, and vehicle modernization efforts.
* Ensure platform system architectures are sound, scalable, and aligned with Army capability needs and modernization intent.
* Drive configuration control, interface definition, and end-to-end system validation through lab, test, and demonstration phases.
2. Cross-Functional Alignment & Execution
* Coordinate with Program Management, Field Support, Logistics, and Engineering to align technical activities and delivery milestones.
* Serve as the technical lead and systems integrator on critical customer programs, including STS, platform resets, and capability insertions.
* Ensure IRAD efforts are scoped and executed to advance integration capability, address customer gaps, and support productization.
3. Strategic & Lifecycle Perspective
* Partner with VP Engineering, BD, and Capture to ensure proposed solutions are technically sound, executable, and offer lifecycle value.
* Collaborate with Digital Logistics and Technical Services BUs where cross-platform integration is needed.
* Apply a lifecycle mindset to ensure sustainment, provisioning, and field support are considered in early design and integration phases.
4. Systems Engineering Oversight
* Serve as the senior functional lead for systems engineering within PS & ILS.
* Oversee MBSE activities, requirements development, trade studies, and CONOPS-based solution definition.
* Ensure engineering rigor, disciplined processes, and alignment with Army acquisition standards.
5. Culture-Driven Leadership & Team Influence
* Foster and uphold a culture of technical ownership, clear expectations, and individual accountability.
* Cultivate trust with teams by fostering transparency, healthy debate, and shared goals.
* Lead with humility, urgency, and an unwavering commitment to mission delivery.
