We are looking for three part-time candidates for afternoons with starting times of 2pm or 3pm, and one to two part-time candidates for morning shifts with starting times of 4am and 5:45am at Speed Mart in Kingsley. These are year-round positions and can include weekends and holidays.
Primary responsibilities of our Gas Station Team Members include:
· Greeting all customers with a pleasant tone
· Assist customers with their needs, questions, or concerns
· Operate cash register efficiently
· Follow through with each transaction to make sure card transactions complete
· Give back proper change and receipts to customers
· Operate lottery machine
· Stock areas in need including coolers and shelves
· Monitor all fuel pumps and transactions to prevent drive-offs
· Maintain a consistent clean work environment both inside and outside of the station
· Handle customer complaints with dignity and respect
· Effectively communicate with coworkers, manager, and customers
Education and/or experience:
· High School Diploma or equivalent
· 0 to 2 years of experience in customer service
· Excellent communication skills required
· Basic Math skills required
Ideal candidates will have reliable transportation, be at least 18 years of age, willing to work a flexible schedule, and have a positive attitude.
