Job Description: We are seeking a Sales Administrator to coordinate communication and documentation for business processes related to customer activities. You will be maintaining customer data in the ERP system SAP, initiating and following sample material requests and being the liaison between Sales and Customer Service to resolve price record issues. Location * Fowlerville, Mi * Hybrid after on-site training Benefits * Competitive compensation with bonuses * Great health benefits * Paid time off * Paid company holidays * Strong company match to 401(k) contributions * Tuition reimbursement program * Paid parental leave Job Tasks (Essential Duties & Responsibilities) * Create and accurately maintain customer records in SAP * Coordinate with internal departments to ensure that customer records are in compliance with import and export regulations * Track and report on core reporting benchmarks * Facilitate customer changes to customer records on behalf of account managers * Assist Sales in gathering required documentation to satisfy legal and business requirements for creating and maintaining customer records in SAP * Submit administrative requests on behalf of sales team as needed or requested * Coordinate the initiation of sample orders and follow through to delivery * Facilitate process improvement and digital transformation initiatives to drive efficiencies in the areas of workflow improvement and record maintenance in SAP * Assist Sales in coordinating customers' visits to US and Mexico facilities * Act as interface between sales and ERP SAP system, answering questions and sharing reports as requested * Back up to the pricing administrator when needed * Other tasks to support business needs Qualifications (Education, Experience, Licensures, and Certifications) * Proficient in Microsoft programs; ERP system * Associates degree in business with 2-3 years of administrative experience in plastics or similar field or Bachelors degree in business or plastics with 1 year of experience Required Skills * Strong organizational and problem-solving skills * Excellent communication skills both written and oral * Multitask in the dynamic and high-paced work environment * Strong attention to detail * Critical thinking using logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions, or approaches to problems * Computer proficiency, specifically with ERP/ MRP system SAP (preferred), Salesforce (preferred), Microsoft Windows Work Environment / Physical Demands / Travel * Office setting, some requirements to enter plant facility and ability to wear PPE * After on-site training, required attendance in office two days per week and as needed by the business * Due to 24/7 operation, some work-related issues may require attention after normal business hours and on weekends * Potential for travel, no more than 5% #Hybrid #LI-MG1 As an equal opportunity employer, Asahi Kasei believes a diverse workforce will provide us with the ability to continuously support the changes in the economy, society, and environment.
