Job Description\n\n Position Summary\n \nThe Warehouse Specialist II is responsible for picking and staging customer orders on the shipping dock, counting and cross-checking staged orders for accuracy before shipment, replenishing warehouse picking locations, loading and unloading trailers, putting away products into designated storage locations, and maintaining cleanliness in the warehouse and individual picking areas. Additionally, this role requires proficiency in the Oracle order processing system to locate and process daily replenishments, manage inventory cycle counting, and address system-related issues. This position must work independently and proactively, effectively communicating key customer service or system concerns to management. This position also supports receiving personnel in processing reimbursements, third-party receipts, and quarantine loads into Oracle, as well as being qualified to assist in the Returns department when needed. The position is required to demonstrate reliability and flexibility and be available for overtime as needed to meet demand spikes or special projects. The position will be required to train and mentor newly onboarded warehouse staff in the basic duties required of a Warehouse Specialist I. Other responsibilities may be assigned by management as necessary.\n\nEssential Duties & Responsibilities\n \n \n * Work in a team-oriented environment by picking, preparing, and palletizing finished goods for shipment. \n * Operate forklift or other equipment as required in the movement of material within the distribution center. Complete a daily vehicle inspection report prior to operating any equipment. Responsible for the proper charging of the vehicles after use. May perform routine preventative maintenance as required. \n * Required to complete warehouse tasks using a handheld RF scanner (picking, replenishing, and putting away items). This includes ensuring precise data entry, verifying product details, and recording serial numbers to maintain inventory integrity. Attention to detail and adherence to company procedures are essential to prevent errors and ensure accurate order fulfillment. Receive daily task from floor Supervisors/Coordinators. \n * Load / Unload trailers and verify the accuracy of the order. \n * Demonstrate reliability and adaptability: being available for additional hours or overtime as needed to meet demand spikes or special projects. Demonstrate ability to rapidly shift across various warehouse areas as required by business needs. For example: Transition from receiving inbounds to picking outbound orders during the same shift. \n * Assist in training new contractors within the department, ensuring they understand warehouse procedures, safety protocols, and operational standards. \n * At Picking, will pick product from stock verifying list number, lot number, count, etc. ensuring the order is properly processed for shipment via FedEx, LTL, or Fleet trucks. \n * Palletize shipments after identifying specific customers and verifying orders. Attach packing list with appropriate shipment and perform cross check when appropriate. \n * Pick, check, over pack, consolidate, and process parcel cases as necessary. \n * Verify accuracy of shipments received, determine locations for products, and put product into available locations. \n * Replenish pick locations based on daily report and Inventory Supervisor assignment. \n * Perform Cycle Count duties daily and report discrepancies to Inventory Supervisor/Coordinator. \n * Qualify in Returns department to process returns as needed and when volumes are high. \n * Must have strong Oracle transaction knowledge for product look up, sub inventory moves, receipts, replenishments and ability to run discoverer reports. \n * Adhere to all good manufacturing practices, Food and Drug guidelines and Drug Enforcement Laws. \n * Perform general housekeeping duties. \n * Work in teams as designated.
