Janitorial Team Lead
This is a working team lead role, responsible for overseeing a crew of hourly associates as well as performing janitorial duties.
Responsibilities of the Janitorial Team Lead include, but are not limited to:
- Supervise and coordinate janitorial staff to ensure high standards of cleanliness and customer satisfaction.
- Assist with staff training, provide real-time performance feedback, and support team development.
- Conduct facility walkthroughs to inspect completed work and ensure compliance with cleaning protocols.
- Perform general cleaning duties such as mopping, vacuuming, dusting, and trash removal.
- Operate commercial cleaning equipment and assist with furniture moves for event or conference setups.
Experience needed for the Janitorial Team Lead:
- 2–3 years of experience in industrial or commercial cleaning required.
- 1+ years of supervisory or leadership experience in a cleaning service role required.
- Proficient in using industrial cleaning equipment such as floor scrubbers and ride-on vacuums.
- High school diploma or GED required.
Additional information for the Janitorial Team Lead
- $16 hourly
- Monday-Friday, 9:00am – 5:30pm
- OT mandatory when scheduled
- Ann Arbor , MI 48105
