Position Summary:
- Performs maintenance and repairs on BWL vehicles, including automobiles, light and heavy-duty trucks, electric vehicles, construction and other associated equipment.
Essential Functions:
- Performs maintenance and repairs of automobiles, light and heavy-duty trucks & trailers, agricultural tractors, construction equipment, gas and diesel engines, electric vehicles and aerial trucks & equipment.
- Follows oral and published instructions to carry out proper repairs.Refers to paper & electronic shop and manufacturer manuals, service schedules and other related data to accomplish preventive maintenance, troubleshooting of equipment malfunctions, and repairs according to specifications.
- Makes reports and maintains records related to maintenance, vehicle mileage, and other pertinent data as required.
- Keeps equipment and work area in a clean and orderly condition.
- Performs other related duties as responsibilities necessitate.
- Required to follow Safety Manual and wear required personal protective equipment.
- Attends training for safety awareness for skills improvement as required by supervisor, BWL or governmental agency such as MIOSHA.
