These positions start at $21.55/HR (with $1/HR shift premium for 2nd shift positions) Job Description: These positions are responsible for operating machinery to ensure the continuous flow of the product thru the production process and insuring proper ingredients/supplies are being used on the line. Responsible for monitoring and adjusting machine settings as needed and notifying supervisor if machines should require maintenance while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures. These positions could work in any department of this meat processing facility. Machine Operator positions include Extended Run, Machine Operator, Oven Operator, Relief Operator, Sanitation Operator, Spice Room Operator, and Utility Operator. Physical Requirements: The successful candidate(s) must be willing and able to perform the physical requirements of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation. * Must be willing and able to lift up to 50 lbs * The Team Member will stand, walk, bend, squat, stretch, climb, push, pull and reach as required in all areas * The Team Member will stand 8-10 hours on hard floors * The Team Member will perform repetitive motions as required in many areas * The Team Member will work in a cold, damp environment * The Team Member will work on slippery walking surfaces Requirements: * Must have 6 month work experience listed on application (can be multiple employers but must add up to 6 months) * Prefer 3 month of Machine Operator Experience Preferred Skills: * Experience in a manufacturing setting preferred * RF Scanner experience preferred ATTN Prior Tyson Workers: Candidates who have previously worked for Tyson will have a minimum rehire waiting period of 365 days and are limited to 3 times of employment.
