Local Redford Metal Forming & Heat Treat facility is seeking a Maintenance Manager. Core responsibilities in this role include providing quality electronic and mechanical services, installation, repair and maintenance of machines and controls systems throughout the facility.
Daily Duties:
- Using advanced and expert knowledge of electrical processes and procedures and equipment, troubleshoots and repairs system malfunctions using knowledge of PLC programs and operator interface units, SCR systems, Inverter/rectifier systems and AC servo systems
- Troubleshooting and instituting repairs based on graphical motion language-operation of controller, Axis use, and General system theory
- Troubleshooting motor controls using wiring diagrams, logic flow control, and all related test equipment
- Maintains and evaluates existing electrical systems for circuitry continuity and operational reliability using electronic test equipment
- Inspects, tests, adjusts, and certified complex electronic assemblies, subassemblies, parts and systems for compliance with specifications following blueprints, schematic drawings, inspection manuals, using hand tools and precision testing equipment
- Other job duties as assigned
This Direct Hire Opportunity is a long term, permanent opportunity with an immediate start.
Pay: $85-95K Annually Based on Experience

Shift: Monday - Friday 1st shift (with flexibility for issues on off-shifts)
Qualifications:
- High school Diploma or Equivalent work experience
- 5+ years Electrical Maintenance Experience in Manufacturing Facility
- Prior leadership or supervisory experience is preferred
- Knowledge of Electrical processes and procedures
- Ability to troubleshoot & repair CNC operating systems including working knowledge of CNC and manual machining equipment, manipulators and/or robotics, drilling machines, turning machines, and milling machines
- Expert knowledge of motor controls, wiring diagrams, and related test equipment
- Reliable Transportation and Valid Driver's License
- Ability to Stand, bend, sit, lift up to 50 lbs. and walk 8-10 hours daily
