Job Details

We are currently seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Shipping and Receiving Specialist. This is a hands-on role ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, food-grade manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Receive incoming shipments, inspect deliveries, and verify accuracy against purchase orders

• Prepare, package, and label outgoing shipments according to customer specifications and regulatory requirements

• Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment safely and efficiently

• Accurately enter shipping/receiving data into inventory management or ERP systems

• Maintain a clean, organized, and food-safe warehouse environment

• Ensure all incoming and outgoing shipments comply with company and USDA/FDA regulations

• Coordinate with production, purchasing, and logistics teams for timely inventory movement

• Perform cycle counts and assist with inventory audits as needed

Requirements:

• 1–3 years of shipping and receiving experience (food manufacturing or GMP environment preferred)

• Valid forklift certification or willingness to obtain

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods

• Familiarity with shipping software and ERP/inventory systems

• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

• High school diploma or equivalent required
