PDW Performance Driven Workforce is now hiring Full Time Electrical Technician’s for an Automotive Tier 1 Supplier. Electrical Technician’s will build, rework, test, repair, and install wiring harnesses on vehicles and the bench. Electrical Technician’s will follow instructions from blueprints, bill of materials (BOM), schematics, and piping and instrumentation diagrams (P&ID). The Electrical Technician II will perform independent project tasks and collaborate with customers and team members. This Electrical Technician position offers an AM Day shift and is based out of Troy, MI. Candidates meeting the requirements for this Electrical Technician position below are strongly encouraged to apply. Day shifts are available.
Shift:
- AM Day shift: Monday - Friday + Saturday as needed

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 4 years of electrical work experience
- Mechanical aptitude with basic understanding of automotive systems and ability to crimp and solder wires
- Proficient with hand and power tools and able to operate vehicle lifts
- Proficient electrical and electronic troubleshooting skills and the ability to understand electronic schematics and electronic part documentation
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
- Knowledge of MS Office programs including Word, Excel, and Outlook
Preferred:
- Broad knowledge of vehicle systems (powertrain, chassis, electrical, thermal, exteriors, interiors, etc.) and related components, component materials & fasteners
- Certificate in Automotive Electrical Technology or related
- Valid driver’s license
- Experience installing components on circuit boards
- Experience with automotive powertrain systems or electric battery systems
