Position Title: Project Manager

Reports To: Chief Technology Officer

General Purpose:

A project manager has the responsibility of planning, executing, and completing a project.  In this leadership role, you will create timelines and budgets, recommend team members, set goals, monitor progress toward goals, solve problems, and interface between the team and upper management.  This work requires excellent organization, time management, and communication skills. 

Responsibilities:

• Assists with research and application of current and future projects.
• Coordinates a project team from inception through completion of the project.
• Responsible for the completion of projects in a timely manner.
• Works to gain support and cooperation to facilitate project completion when involving more than one department or company such as with a system conversion.
• Liaison with outside consultants and companies regarding progress and project completion.
• Other Duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

Education/Experience

• Bachelor’s degree required preferably in business management, business administration, technology, or other related field
• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
• Experience leading cross-functional teams and managing all phases of a project lifecycle (initiation, planning, execution, monitoring and closing)
• 5 years of relevant work experience

• Ability to perform multiple tasks and work under pressure to meet deadlines
• Ability to think and act strategically and proactively with strong analytical and risk assessment skills
• Detail Oriented
• Advanced written and verbal communication skills. Strong presentation skills.
• Excellent communication skills and able to establish and maintain positive working relationships.
