We are looking to add part-time Caregivers to our team. Must be able to work weekends, holidays, days, nights, and overnights.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Provide patients with help moving in and out of beds, baths, wheelchairs, or automobiles and with dressing and grooming.
- Bathe patients and help with daily living activities.
- Care for patients by changing bed linens, washing and/or ironing laundry, cleaning, or assisting with their personal care.
- Entertain, converse with, or read aloud to patients to keep them mentally healthy and alert
- Plan, purchase, prepare and/or serve meals to patient and/or family members according to prescribed diets.
- Check patient vital signs.
- Assist with incontinence care, medicine reminders
- Provide patient and family members with emotional support and instructions for caring for patient, independent living, or adapting to disability or illness.
- Perform a variety of other duties as requested by manager or patient.
- Perform move assists with a Hoyer Lift, Gait Belt, and use fall prevention and general safety guidelines.
Requirements:
- Must have a valid Driver’s License.
- Must have reliable transportation.
- Must have attention to detail.
- Must be 18+.
