- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Agricultural, or Mechatronics Engineering; and four years’ experience preferred.
- Proficiency in the use of a CAD system required.
- Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from group of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
- Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral diagram, or schedule form.
- Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as fundamentals of plane and solid geometry, numerical analysis, calculus and trigonometry.
- Ability to effectively apply engineering calculations within the subjects of vector mechanics (static and dynamic), kinematics, fluid dynamics, fluid power design, thermodynamics, material sciences, and control systems in the design of production machinery.
- Experience with Finite Element Analysis (FEA) and Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) preferred.
