Access Line Supervisor

We are the behavioral health community organization responsible for the delivery of mental health, substance abuse treatment coordination, and developmental disabilities services for Kent County. The Access Line operates 24 hours per day, 7 days per week. The Access Line answers all incoming calls for Network180. The Access Line Supervisor is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the Access Line and provides supervision and technical support to Access Line Representatives.
- Supervise assigned staff; carry out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with Network180 policies, procedures and applicable laws; provides training in job skills; plans, assigns, and directs work; appraises performance; addresses complaints and resolves problems
- Develop and implement training for Access Line employees.
- Monitor and evaluate productivity standards and overall function of Access Line.
- Manage the schedule to ensure coverage 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Including after-hours support for scheduling and obtaining shift coverage for Access Line.
- May be required to cover shifts if no other staff available.
- Coordinate with Mobile Crisis Team Manager to ensure rapid response
- Ensure compliance with requirements from MDHHS, LRE and CARF
This position is Monday through Friday, 8:30 am to 5:00 pm. This assignment is in person at 790 Fuller Ave NE Grand Rapids, Michigan 49503.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- Associates degree in Social Work, Psychology, Sociology or related field, or any combination of education, training and experience providing the required knowledge, skills and abilities to perform the essential functions of the job may be considered; Equivalency for education is two years of work experience equals one year of education.
- Experience in crisis management or call-taking on hotline/warmline
- Ability to handle multiple projects at one time
- Proficient computer skills including typing/data entry, spreadsheets, database management, and email
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Lived experiences with mental illness/developmental disabilities/substance use disorders valued
- Ability to work effectively in a multicultural environment and skills and capabilities of bridging language/cultural barriers to Network 180 services within diverse communities preferred
- Experience in Customer Service
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Two years of supervisory experience
- Experience in supervision/management of crisis management staff
