We are seeking a Mobile Crisis Response Dispatch Coordinator
The role of the Mobile Crisis Response Dispatch Coordinator is to respond to behavioral health crisis calls over the phone; and triage and dispatch the Mobile Crisis Response Team. The aim is to have one centralized process for referrals and dispatching the team during peak hours.
This position will support the Mobile Crisis Response Team through managing referrals, phone management, coordination of logistics, and team availability.
This position is 40 hours a week, Monday through Friday, 10:00am to 6:00pm. There are no holiday or weekend requirements. This position is on-site for at least the six-month probationary period, with the option of working remotely following passing probation
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s degree in Social Work.
- Licensed in the State of Michigan as a limited licensed Bachelor’s Social Worker OR be eligible for a limited license and obtain that licensure within three (3) months of hire.
- Thorough working knowledge of the practices and principles of psychological, emotional, and sociological assessment and diagnosis.
- Thorough working knowledge of professional ethics and standards of practice
- Computer skills including word processing, spreadsheets, email, database management, and data entry skills.
- Demonstrated experience communicating clearly and concisely in stressful situations.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to multi-task.
- Ability to work effectively in a multicultural environment and skills and capabilities of bridging language/cultural barriers to Network180 services within diverse communities.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Full licensure in the State of Michigan as a Bachelor’s Social Worker.
- At least one year of experience in community-based crisis intervention.
- Specialized training and at least one year of experience in the examination, evaluation, and treatment of minors and their families.
- Bilingual English/Spanish.
- Lived experiences with mental illness/developmental disabilities/substance use disorders valued.
