KPMG is currently seeking a Strategic Sourcing and Procurement IT Professional Services Sourcing Director to join our CFO function.Responsibilities:
Collaborate with internal Chief Information Officer (CIOs) and technology stakeholders to pinpoint, champion, and implement cutting-edge savings and efficiency opportunities; partner with the business to challenge the status quo and drive the adoption of procurement practices, fostering compliance and trust
Elevate our strategic sourcing in the Information Technology (IT) Professional Services category through competitive sourcing, market analysis, negotiations, cost management, contract management, and supplier relationship management
Craft and execute a comprehensive IT Professional Services sourcing strategy grounded in meticulous analysis of spend data, market trends, category insights, and business needs, effectively leveraging the firm's spending power
Provide decisive thought leadership during critical negotiations; collaborate with legal and other key partners to ensure optimal representation and enforcement of essential terms and conditions to leverage the firm's spending power and support the business needs
Work closely with suppliers and internal partners to manage and enhance supplier performance; facilitate continuous improvement and innovation, address performance issues, and drive efficient resolutions
Partner with the Sourcing Third Party Risk team and internal stakeholders to ensure thorough representation and adherence to risk management requirements, balancing cost-effectiveness with business objectives; inspire and lead a team of IT Professional Services sourcing professionals; cultivate their development, mentor, and drive best practices to achieve exceptional performanceQualifications:
Minimum twelve years of recent experience expertise in sourcing, contract negotiation, supplier management, outsourcing, and project management
Bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university required; Master's degree from an accredited college/university preferred for enhanced strategic and analytical capabilities
Displayed a proven track record of success in progressively complex roles; demonstrated success
in category management strategies, strategic sourcing, and supplier management, with significant business impact and deep understanding of third-party labor markets and suppliers
Strong ability to collaborate, influence, and effectively navigate complex organizational structures; proven experience working with suppliers, project teams, sponsors, functional leads, and senior management
Excellent organizational, time management, and project management abilities; skilled in managing multiple projects, RFXs, and contract negotiations simultaneously; demonstrated analytical, financial, and problem-solving skills, including stakeholder and meeting facilitation
