Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Stainless-Steel Welder to join our team. Candidates are required to have experience in TIG welding and be proficient in working with stainless steel. This position requires attention to detail, the ability to read and interpret blueprints, and a commitment to safety and quality.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform TIG welding on stainless steel components according to specifications and drawings.
- Read and interpret blueprints, weld symbols, and technical drawings.
- Fit and layout parts to precise specifications.
- Operate welding machinery and other tools necessary for the welding process (sanders, grinders, files, etc.).
- Inspect work for proper fit-up and adequate cleanliness for welding.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
Skills Needed
- Proficiency in TIG welding.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
- Experience with welding tools and machinery.
- Attention to detail and precision in work.
Knowledge Required
- Understanding of welding symbols and fabrication drawings.
- Knowledge of safety standards and practices in welding.
- Familiarity with different types of stainless steel and their properties.
Ability to Implement
- Ability to produce high-quality welds on stainless steel components.
- Capability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot welding issues.
