QUALIFICATIONS- Bachelor’s degree required in social work, psychology, education, or counseling is required. Must have a demonstrated work history in the above fields for at least 5 years; possess and maintain a current, valid MI. Driver’s license; experience providing services for school aged children; knowledge of trauma informed practices in a school-based setting; court, civil court procedures, tribal law and policies and generally accepted office practices; have extensive knowledge of community programs and resources. Skills in demonstrated excellence in assessment, case management, interpersonal communication and active listening skills. Proficiency in computer applications, to manage referrals, track attendance interventions, generate reports and maintain accurate documentation.
