Department Information For the newly formed Product Growth & Governance team, key responsibilities will include: 1.) Oversee Enterprise Product Source (EPS) platform, which acts as the source-of-truth for all enterprise product data, managing the EPS roadmap to strategically integrate this new asset into BCBSM's ecosystem 2.) Enable the growth of the product portfolio by leading both the RFP Product response process for all three product lines 3.) Enable the growth of the complementary solutions through the strategic growth fund's sales incentive program 4.) Lead the vendor disposition process, governing customer requests for data and integrations to third party product vendors Will need to be able to: 1.) Support the execution and administration of new operating models for Product RFPs, Solution Sales Incentives, Vendor Dispositions and the Enterprise Product Source platform. 2.) Demonstrate problem solving skills, critical thinking and a data-driven mindset 3.) Experience with building strong relationships w/ internal partners Responsible for managing vendor relationship for an in-market solution. Develops strategies and oversees execution to ensure success (operational, engagement, financial, KPIs) of the solution. Serves as internal SME and face of the solution to sales and marketplace. Collaborates with vendor, finance, and performance team on reporting and opportunities to drive additional success and efficiencies. Provides support to solution managers on key solutions. * Develop and execute vendor and solution strategy; Develop a strategic business plan and ensuring the success of solution. Identifies and executes on solution optimization opportunities. * Monitor reporting and solution performance against all data points and metrics. * Lead the process to enable partners from the sales team to deliver compelling messages to their customers related to solutions. * Present solutions directly to senior decision makers at our group customers. * Ensure the value proposition for the solution is clearly articulated in group presentations, RFP responses and other external communications. * Possess and maintain a comprehensive understanding and knowledge of BCBSM business, products, programs (including provider data, networks, etc.), corporate organizational structure (including functional responsibilities), and basic research principles/methodologies. * Manage and monitor multiple projects simultaneously by establishing project plans and objectives to ensure goal attainment within defined parameters. * Provide expertise and guidance to unit and corporate staff as required. * Represent and participate in group or committee discussions. QUALIFICATIONS * Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Economics, Health Care, Information Systems, Statistics or other related field is required. Master's Degree in related field preferred. * Minimum of five (5) or more years' experience in related experience (e.g., strategic selling, business consulting, planning, health care economics, health care policy, business decisions, market research, or business management). * Excellent analytical, organizational, planning, problem solving, and verbal and written communication/presentation skills. * Strong project management skills - can manage/support multiple projects and works with internal and external clients to identify needs and develop solutions. * Knowledge of BCBSM benefit plans, business processes, information systems, key delivery systems, and products. * Plan and develop reports, presentations, and other forms of communication materials in a clear and concise manner with limited supervision. * Capacity to understand and clearly communicate the complexity of healthcare and clinical, utilization, and financial data. * Strong knowledge and use of existing software packages (PowerPoint, Excel, Word, etc). * Advanced PowerPoint skills. * Ability to communicate and build relationships across teams at all levels of the organization. * Understand and apply statistical inference. * Other related skills and/or abilities may be required to perform this job.
