Marketing Specialist – Digital & Social Media

Position Summary: LECO is seeking a highly motivated and results-oriented Marketing Specialist - Digital & Social Media team member. The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker and a hands-on executor, adept at leveraging various social media platforms and digital channels to build brand awareness, engage our target audience, drive website traffic, and generate leads/conversions through both organic and paid initiatives, including email marketing. This role requires a deep understanding of current social media trends, digital advertising best practices, email marketing principles, and analytics, with the added ability to contribute to traditional advertising efforts, and includes key administrative responsibilities related to advertising execution and platform management, to continuously optimize performance across multiple channels.
Position Responsibilities:
Social Media Management
- Develop and manage a content calendar aligned with marketing campaigns
- Create and publish engaging content across formats (text, image, video)
- Monitor and respond to community engagement (comments, messages, tags)
- Collaborate with internal teams to feature company updates and culture
- Ensure all content adheres to brand and compliance standards
Paid & Digital Advertising
- Plan, launch, and optimize paid campaigns across platforms (LinkedIn, YouTube, Google Ads, Facebook)
- Conduct A/B testing and analyze performance to maximize ROI
- Manage advertising budgets and coordinate ad space purchases (digital and traditional)
- Administer and optimize performance within digital ad platforms
Email Marketing
- Design, build, test, and deploy mobile-responsive email campaigns
- Use email platforms (e.g., Mailchimp) to manage lists, segments, and targeting
- Maintain brand consistency and track engagement metrics
- Apply testing and analytics to continuously improve campaign results
Analytics & Optimization
- Track key performance metrics across all marketing channels (social, ads, email)
- Generate regular performance reports and deliver actionable insights
- Use data to inform content, budget, and channel strategies
- Stay current on digital trends, platform updates, and emerging tools
Traditional & Print Advertising
- Support coordination of print and traditional ad initiatives
- Ensure creative alignment and manage expenditure tracking for ad placements
- Monitor effectiveness of traditional campaigns and report outcomes
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Work closely with marketing, design, content, and product teams on integrated campaigns
- Support influencer marketing, partnerships, and brand collaborations
- Promote employee engagement with company content and social platforms
- Ensure consistency across all marketing touchpoints
Position Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing or related field.
- Typically 3+ years of proven digital marketing experience, including organic and paid social media, digital advertising (Google Ads, paid social platforms), and email marketing (campaigns, platforms, design).
- Demonstrated ability to manage and optimize paid advertising budgets and campaigns across platforms.
- Experience with digital marketing and social media analytics tools; strong data interpretation skills.
- Excellent written/verbal communication and copywriting skills.
- Experience with traditional advertising oversight and related administrative tasks (POs, tracking) is a plus.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with social media management platforms (Loomly, Hootsuite, etc.) and specific email platforms (Mailchimp, HubSpot, etc.).
- Relevant digital marketing certifications (Google Ads, etc.).
- Basic SEO understanding.
- Experience managing platform users/licenses.
Education/Certifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, advertising, or other related field.?
