Aptiv seeks Component Technical Expert in Troy, MI.

Lead the software design and implementation as an individual contributor. Develop and implement component architecture and verification plan(s). Design, implement and test embedded Base Software (BSW) Modules for Automotive systems (including ADAS ECU.) Drive and conduct code reviews. Analyze and determine critical system resource budgets including memory. Work on the configuration and generation of AUTOSAR modules using AUTOSAR tools (including, but not limited to Vector DaVinci tools.) Collaborate with system team to review and/or determine customer requirements and component interface specifications.

Additional Requirements

This role requires a Bachelor's degree (or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or related field plus 5 years of experience in the job offered or related occupation. Requires five (5) years of experience with the following: Embedded software development; AUTOSAR Software; Functional Safety Development; Application Control software for Automotive; and Software tools for Development, Requirement and Project Management.
