SUMMARY The Supervisor is responsible for the management, support and coaching of subordinates. Also responsible for ensuring that assigned objectives are executed effectively and efficiently. This role will be dedicated to spending part of their time doing hands-on instructional design work, requiring knowledge of instructional deign principles. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned. * Work with stakeholders from different parts of the organization to analyze their needs and design robust training solutions that meet their need. * Develop training materials, including facilitator support guides, end user guides, and other learning activities as needed for assigned training projects. * Develops ID standards, tools, and processes. * Identifies, resolves, and reports issues within their scope. * Reinforces and reiterates adherence to compliance, policies and procedures relative to department. * Actively participates in departmental initiatives for continuous improvement. * Balances workload to optimize the effectiveness of the department. * Leads and participates in workgroups to implement new requirements and resolve issues. * Supervises assigned staff. * Engages with stakeholders and leadership to ensure alignment with strategic plans and priorities. * Maintains and promotes quality relationships with internal team and external vendors. * May participate in development of annual departmental budget, monitor budget, and/or identify budget discrepancies and provides potential solutions. EDUCATION Relevant combination of education and experience may be considered in lieu of degree. * Bachelor's degree in a role relevant field. * Certification or progress toward related certification(s) is highly preferred and encouraged. EXPERIENCE * Five (5) years experience of progressive responsibility in a business environment with demonstrated technical knowledge that provides the necessary knowledge, skills and abilities required. * One (1) year supervisory or leadership experience in business is required. SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES Directly supervises a varied number of employees in the designated department(s). Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring and training employees; planning, assigning and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems WORKING CONDITIONS Work is performed in an office setting with no unusual hazards. PAY RANGE: Actual compensation decision relies on the consideration of internal equity, candidate's skills and professional experience, geographic location, market and other potential factors. It is not standard practice for an offer to be at or near the top of the range, and therefore a reasonable estimate for this role is between $60,100 and $117,400. #AF-AD1
