Job Title: Maintenance Staff
Reports to: Facility Maintenance Director
Status: Part-time (flexible - up to 29 hours per week)
Schedule: Flexible hours - some weekend, early morning or evening shifts may be required
Compensation: $12.50 per hour & Free YMCA Membership
POSITION SUMMARY:
This position supports the work of the Y, a leading nonprofit committed to strengthening community through youth development, healthy living and social responsibility. Maintenance Staff are responsible for the overall cleanliness and general appearance of the YMCA facility and grounds and ensure that we provide a safe and pleasant experience for everyone using our facility.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Required to pass criminal background checks
- Prior experience and/or training in maintenance/facilities work preferred
- Ability to engage and interact with co-workers, members, and guests from diverse backgrounds
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and as part of a team
