POSITION SUMMARY: We are seeking a full-time night shift Psychiatric Nurse for our Behavioral Health Urgent Care. Currently, this position will work five (5), eight (8) hour shifts per week, within current programming hours, including rotating weekends and holidays. The current program hours of operation are 8:00 a.m. - 10:30 p.m., and weekend hours of operation are 10:00 a.m. - 6:30 p.m. When the program moves to 24-hour operation, all shifts will be 12-hour shifts, 8:00 a.m. - 8:00 p.m. three (3) days per week, but will still be paid for 40 hours of work.
General Statement:
Under the direction of the Director of Nursing or designee performs professional nursing tasks and case consultation with prescribers for the program area; performs related work as required.

Graduation from an accredited school of nursing

Licensed as a registered nurse (RN) in the State of Michigan

Additional Requirements:
Must have a valid Michigan driver’s license, current automobile insurance, and use of a vehicle during work hours.
Must be willing and able to work weekends, holidays, or irregular hours, including on-call responsibilities.
Preferences:
Experience working in medical, psychiatric, and crisis settings.
