Summary:
In this role, you will lead the team to manage the successful completion of utility facilities work orders and resolution of facility/equipment/manufacturing issues.
Responsibilities:
- Build the strategy of the energy engineering program
- Oversee the functioning, maintenance and repair of all utility systems including mechanical, electrical (i.e boiler, compressed air and HVAC)
- Oversee capital projects and review with leadership
- Oversee and execute preventative maintenance and issue maintenance contracts as needed
- Provide technical information, engineering support and/or project management in the area of capacity and utility facilities planning and modification
- Select and coordinate with contractors and vendors for revamping and new construction project
- Manage activities of a team, including setting objectives, managing results, and evaluating/coaching individual performance
- Coordinate maintenance work requests and purchase tools and materials for maintenance team use
- Monitor and review all documented records produced during construction project.
- Respond to and/or organize teams to complete urgent/critical requests
- Purchase and manage necessary spare parts as needed
- Conduct thorough and timely Layered Process Audits in appropriate work areas
- Maintain cleanliness at work-site in accordance with 5S3R Standards:
- Sort, Set in order, Shine, Standardize, Sustain
- Right Location, Right Quantity, Right Container
- Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree required, MBA or MS preferred or equivalent, relevant experience
Experience:
- 10 to 15+ years of relevant experience in utility facilities management, construction, project management.
- 7 to 10+ years of experience leading a team and managing processes
