Job Summary
The Cook is responsible for preparing and serving meals in accordance with U.S.D.A. standards, ensuring a clean and sanitary kitchen environment, managing inventory, and maintaining accurate records. This role operates under moderate supervision and may also involve training new staff members.
Essential Functions

Prepare, cook, assemble, and serve meals and snacks following U.S.D.A. guidelines.

Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the kitchen and storeroom.

Inspect, receive, and store inventory; ensure proper stock rotation and complete necessary paperwork.

Maintain production records, milk records, and other required documentation.

Train new staff as needed.
Minimum Qualifications

Education: High School diploma or GED, with coursework in home economics, food preparation, or similar subjects.
