This position serves as the Administrator of the Audit and Emergency Preparedness Division, as well as Treasury’s Audit Liaison. This position is responsible for centralized audit and compliance activities, including managing, tracking and reporting on audit resolution and follow up activities. This area is responsible for administering the disclosure provisions of the Revenue Act, Internal Revenue Code and other applicable laws for safeguarding confidential information of the Department through the execution and monitoring of data sharing agreements with State of Michigan agencies, local governments and federal agencies, including the Internal Revenue Service and the Social Security Administration. In addition, this position is responsible for centralized Safety and Health activities, along with Emergency Management activities, fostering a culture of preparedness and resilience in planning for, responding to, and recovering from challenges and disruptions. This position is responsible for the administration and management of the division, including the formulation of short and long-term goals and strategies.
