Experience coordinating interviews, travel, or candidate communications
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities with accuracy and efficiency
High level of discretion in handling confidential and sensitive information

HR Administrator

Howmet Aerospace has an opportunity for an on-site HR Administrator in our Whitehall, MI location! Reporting to the Employment Manager, this role provides essential administrative support to our high-volume Talent Acquisition team. The HR Administrator will play a key role in managing candidate activity and ensuring a smooth and efficient onboarding process through a wide range of coordination and support tasks.
Key Responsibilities:
Maintain and update the applicant tracking system (ATS)
Manage candidate statuses and dispositioning within the ATS
Own the job requisition process, including data input, manager coordination, approvals, and job posting
Schedule interviews and coordinate candidate travel and expense reimbursement
Conduct initial candidate phone screens
Issue visitor badges and coordinate onsite interview logistics
Conduct professional reference checks
Coordinate and track pre-employment requirements (e.g., physicals, background checks)
Assist with internal audits and documentation for compliance purposes
Ensure accuracy and confidentiality of sensitive candidate and employee information
Other duties as assigned
