Groundskeeper
Job Summary:
The Groundskeeper is responsible for performing Grounds Maintenance. This seasonal position works Monday through Friday 40 hours a week from 6:00 am - 2:30 pm, during the summer from May until August.
Benefits and Pay
This position has no benefits.
This grounds position earns a competitive wage of $20.00 per hour.
Responsibilities:
- Perform grounds duties like grounds cleanliness, shrub pruning, planting, and mowing
- Landscape renovation, edging and hand trimming
- Cleaning and pressure washing
- Operate riding mowers, carts and rototillers
- Maintain equipment operation and other maintenance duties
- Maneuver vehicles in congested, narrow areas around people, vehicles and structures
- Clean and remove debris from grounds daily
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma/GED
- Ability to read, write and speak English to communicate effectively with supervisors and co-workers
- Good work organization and problem-solving ability
- Ability to lift and carry 25 to 50 lbs.
- Work outdoors in temperatures that could be above 90 degrees
- Have a valid driver's license
- Grounds maintenance related experience is preferred
