Opportunity:
Our client, is seeking a 5 Axis Laser Operator in Roseville, MI. This role will be responsible utilizing laser machinery to cut products to precise measurements while contributing to a team; this is a 1st shift, contract position with the opportunity for direct hire.

Responsibilities:
- Sets up machine to ensure proper specifications are met
- Performs typical laser cutting operations
- Completes prescribed maintenance as required
- Supports company’s continuous improvement initiative
- Maintains compliance with statewide standards and regulations
Qualifications:
- Associates degree or equivalent in Technical or Vocational training
- 2+ years experience and/or education in Laser Operation
- Knowledge of sheet metal model making
- Knowledge of 5-axis Laser Machine
- Experience using Mitsubishi and Mazak machines
- Programming knowledge preferred.
- Experience in manufacturing system operations and maintenance
- Strong verbal and written skills
