Job Overview
Our client is seeking a skilled CNC Programmer to join their team in Roseville, MI. The ideal candidate will be responsible for programming and setting up CNC machines to produce precision parts and components. This role requires a strong understanding of machining processes, blueprint reading, and the ability to work with various measuring tools. The CNC Programmer will play a crucial role in ensuring that production runs smoothly and efficiently while maintaining high-quality standards.

Responsibilities
- Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and CAD files to determine specifications.
- Set up CNC machines, including tool selection, calibration, and adjustments.
- Create set up tooling sheets to assist operators setup
- NC program components to provided data/prints using Visi CAD/CAM software.
- Design and NC program NC holding fixtures using Visi CAD/CAM software.
- Create setup/tooling sheets to assist operators with part setup.
- Manage production-run jobs with operators, answering questions and ensuring quality requirements are being met.
Requirements
- 3 year experience as a CNC Programmer or similar role in a manufacturing environment - minimum 1 year hands on programming
- Proficiency in programming CNC machines using G-code or similar languages.
- Experience in prototype injection molding
- Proficient in MS Office (Outlook, Excel, Word)
- Excellent blueprint reading skills with the ability to interpret complex technical documents.
