Position Title: Marketplace Facilities Supervisor
Employment Type: Part-Time
Work Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 12:00 PM; On-call as available
Salary Range: $17.00 – $21.00 per hour

Primary Responsibility:
The Marketplace Facilities Supervisor ensures the Marketplace building is clean, functional, and safe. This position oversees all building systems, performs maintenance, and coordinates janitorial and repair services.
Essential Job Functions:
Maintenance and Repairs:

Conduct regular building inspections to identify maintenance and cleaning needs.

Manage and follow a scheduled maintenance plan, focusing on quality control.

Use a daily quality checklist and periodic maintenance schedule; report results to the Marketplace Director.

Complete maintenance tasks for vendor-leased space turnovers, within skill level and licensing requirements.

Address work order requests related to the Marketplace building.

Track and request maintenance supplies and arrange for timely repairs.

Supervise repairs performed by external contractors.

Perform routine safety, quality, and security inspections.

Act as the primary contact for tenant building concerns and coordinate related communications.
Janitorial Services:

Work with the Marketplace Janitorial Supervisor to identify areas for periodic cleaning.

Perform hard-floor care, including stripping, waxing, and refinishing.

Clean carpets using extraction methods.

Conduct cleaning above 72” using appropriate equipment.

Coordinate specialized cleaning services as needed.

Assist with spill clean-up using universal precautions.

Oversee waste collection and disposal in compliance with regulations.
Safety and Compliance:

Follow all organizational safety and cleanliness procedures.

Conduct routine safety, quality, and security inspections as assigned.

Ensure adherence to local, state, and federal maintenance regulations.

Participate in required safety training and comply with safety protocols.
Marginal Job Functions:
Qualifications:

High school diploma or at least two years of maintenance experience.

Knowledge of maintenance tools, equipment, and cleaning supplies.

Experience with light and heavy-duty equipment.

Preferred experience working with and training individuals with disabilities.

Strong organizational and communication skills.

Proficient in Microsoft Office and web-based forms.

Must pass a physical exam, criminal background check, and drug screening as required by the agency.
