Part-time Production Technician
Essential Functions of the Job:
- New Hire and other identified employee training.
- Mentoring of all employees.
- Assist in writing work instructions.
- Assist in the fabrication and assembly of manufactured goods.
- Inspect finished products for quality and adherence.
- Solving problems and submitting suggestions for process improvements.
- Prioritize safety and ensure that all work is done in a safe manner.
Knowledge and Skills Requirements:
- Skilled in the use of hand tools and heavy equipment machinery.
- Ability to adapt to working in different departments.
- Basic knowledge of outlook, Word, Excel, JDE.
- Must be experienced in blueprint reading, assembly and welding skills.
- Must be multitask oriented, organized, able to set priorities, and meet deadlines.
Education and Experience:
- High School Diploma or equivalent. Will consider verified work experience in lieu of formal education.
- Previous experience as a Production Technician is required.
