SUMMARY STATEMENT OF RESPONSIBILITIES:
Design and produce impactful, informative and on-brand creative for all SME business units. Have advanced design skills in print and digital media as well as video editing and animation to support SME’s business units and events. This role will work directly with the manager of creative services to collaborate and create high-level designs and layouts. This position will work directly with support staff and marketers as needed to gather all assets to goals of projects. The senior level designer will be responsible for staying on-top of design trends and will support the digital media team on creative assets for web, social, video and email campaigns. It is required that this role be organized and mindful of deadlines on all assigned projects.
MAJOR FUNCTIONS:
• Create videos for web, video editing and animations.
• Design layouts for print and digital/social media; execute design work as required on-time.
• Support the creative manager and department on all graphic design functions assigned.
• Provide recommendations for design/layout and graphic design-related solutions for customers, Adhere and consult on all SME branding and logo standards.
• Execute accuracy with retouching/color adjustments to photography.
• Advanced photoshops skills in blending images and creating dynamic photo-graphics.
• Perform operator level workstation maintenance and troubleshooting.
• Other duties as assigned.
MINIMUM EXPERIENCE, EDUCATION, AND SKILLS:
• Bachelor’s degree in graphics discipline
• At least 5 to 7 years’ work experience in related field
• Effective written and oral communication skills required; coaching skills desirable
• Great attention to details
• Advanced level of proficiency in InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, Microsoft products, and acrobat
• Working knowledge in HTML, Dreamweaver, Premier, Xd and After Effects.
• Understanding of printing processes and experience working with print/media vendors.
• Ability to prepare files for printers with correct colors, fonts and bleeds.
• Understanding of Easy Projects (project management system) a plus.
