As a Dietary Team Lead with the Fairview Campus at Wellspring, you’ll be part of a team of nurses, CNAs and senior support staff committed to helping seniors and families in Fairview. In this position, you'll be directly supporting your community in Oscoda County to provide services to seniors. In this position, you will bring a High School Diploma or equivalent and prior dietary experience and Food Safety training, preferred.
As a Dietary Team Lead, you will:

Provide input to the department manager for annual evaluations

Provide training and orientation to department staff

Create department schedules, schedule room turnovers, and ensure coverage in the event of vacation, call-ins, or personal days

Participate in interview process for recruitment

Delegate daily work assignments to department staff
-
Prepare workstation for tray line
-
Serve residents at designated tables following diets and preferences
-
Work assigned positions (preparation, dish, serving, clean up, cook etc.)

Perform and ensure cleaning tasks are completed as posted
-
Place weekly orders once approved by Supervisor

Inventory food storage weekly
-
Assist with office duties delegated by supervisor to include but not limited to: menu creation, menu assignment, snack labels

Update/maintain meal tickets, master menu to ensure appropriate resident and meal assignments each day

Prepare meals according to menu and recipes, ensuring food is prepared to food safety standards

Prepare therapeutic and modified textured diets
-
Review menu and spreadsheets for upcoming days to determine any prep work to be completed
