Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Program Manager to oversee the Home
Ramp Up program. The ideal candidate is dedicated to helping low-income seniors
enhance their mobility and maintain independence. This role involves managing the
installation of temporary ramps and adaptive equipment for low-income seniors, ensuring
compliance with HUD guidelines, and collaborating with community partners. The
candidate must have experience in occupational therapy, housing rehabilitation, or agingin-place modifications. The salary is $45,000 per year with a comprehensive benefits
package. The position is funded through 12/1/2027.
Key Responsibilities:
• Oversee daily operations of the Home Ramp Up program, including scheduling,
budgeting, and reporting
• Ensure compliance with HUD’s Older Adults Home Modification Program funding
requirements
• Implement program plans in alignment with HUD guidelines and organizational
goals
• Coordinate the installation of temporary ramps and adaptive equipment for seniors
• Collaborate with occupational therapists and manage contracts with licensed
professionals
• Prepare and submit regular reports to HUD and other stakeholders
• Develop and manage program spending, ensuring cost-effective use of resources
• Build and maintain contractor relationships in compliance with federal and state
regulations
• Lead outreach efforts to identify and engage eligible seniors in multiple counties
• Develop and distribute marketing materials in collaboration with the Media
Coordinator
• Foster a collaborative and supportive environment with the Community Action
Center staff screening eligible seniors
Qualifications:
• Experience in occupational therapy, housing rehabilitation, or aging-in-place
modifications
• Bachelor’s degree in social work, public administration, healthcare management, or
a related field preferred
• Experience in program management, preferably in housing, healthcare, or social
services preferred
• Strong project management skills, including planning and reporting
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and project management software
• Commitment to improving the lives of seniors
• Reliable transportation, valid driver’s license, proof of insurance, and successful
motor vehicle record review
• Successful background check, including criminal history and Central Registry
clearance
• Compliance with the Agency’s smoke-free and drug-free policies
