DescriptionPOSITION SUMMARY
This internship position will be responsible for the configuration, deployment, tracking, and return of clients' workstations and CU*Base Update Appliances ordered by clients. This is a temporary role not to exceed six months for an individual not actively enrolled in school. For individuals actively enrolled in school, the duration of this role is not to exceed one year.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
Install and configure software on new PCs.
Transport equipment between CU*A office locations.
Set up PC hardware with internal users.
Configure CU*Base Update Appliance.
Document and track equipment in motion.
Perform basic troubleshooting on hardware set up and software configuration.
Securely delete data on PCs.
Checklist documentation evaluation and process improvement.
Perform additional duties as assigned to support organizational goals and evolving business needs.
JOB SPECIFICATIONS
High School graduate, GED, or equivalent work experience. Equivalent work experience equal to 1-2 years of prior office experience in information technology field.
Strong desktop support skills, including Windows 10 and Windows 11.
Ability to maintain detailed tracking records of equipment.
Strong organizational skills.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to deal with external clients as well as internal staff.
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
Ability to use discretion when dealing with sensitive or confidential data.
Ability to work effectively with other CU*Answers teams.
Ability to operate telephone, photocopier, fax machines and PC workstation.
Regular and predictable attendance.
Embrace and adhere to the company mission and the seven cooperative principles of a cooperative.
Ability to travel by auto or plane to multiple locations throughout the United States including but not limited to client sites, other building locations, general errands, etc. This travel could be multiple times per day, once daily, weekly, monthly, or annually.
Possess a valid driver's license with an insurable driving record.
