Aptiv US Services General Partnership seeks Embedded Software Developer in Troy, MI.
Duties: Work as a member of a globally distributed team designing and developing Linux and embedded software in C and C++ language. Design and develop software solutions from initial concepts and requirements development through to production implementation and support. Software issue troubleshooting, problem solving, root cause analysis, etc. Modify existing software to correct errors, allow it to adapt to new hardware, or to improve performance. Integrate software on hardware and collaborate with hardware design team. Design, develop and integrate signal processing solutions on embedded systems.
Requires a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science plus 2 years of experience. Requires 2 years of experience with the following: C and C++ development; and signal processing. Requires 1 year of experience with the following: hardware and software integration projects; software debugging and analysis; and agile software development processor course projects. In the alternative, the employer will accept a Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science plus knowledge of all of the above.
