Job Description: We are seeking a Plant Manager to oversee the production of industrial shredders. The ideal candidate will be mechanically minded and capable of leading the operations team to ensure delivery dates are met and equipment is built to spec. The Plant Manager will also be responsible for invoicing and month-end reporting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee all aspects of daily production operations.
- Provide direction to the floor leader and production team.
- Ensure delivery dates are met, and equipment is built to spec.
- Manage invoicing and month-end reporting.
- Lead the operations team to optimize processes and control costs.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards.
Skills Needed:
- Strong leadership and organizational skills.
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in production management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Knowledge Required:
- In-depth understanding of mechanical systems and industrial shredders.
- Familiarity with production planning and scheduling.
- Knowledge of health, safety, and environmental regulations.
Ability to Implement:
- Ability to lead and mentor a team.
- Capability to optimize production processes and control costs.
